Our Story

ABY Foundation Zambia exists to restore hope among children and communities affected by poverty, abuse, violence, disease, disability, and other social challenges. Our work is grounded in the belief that practical compassion, inclusion, and partnership create sustainable transformation.

Founder

Abigail Kaluba Lungu is the founder of ABY Foundation Zambia and leads a mission-driven platform focused on dignity, empowerment, and hope for vulnerable communities.

Our programme model recognises that vulnerability is multidimensional. That is why our interventions span health, education, child protection, empowerment, psychosocial support, inclusion, relief, and research.
Autism & Disability Support Supporting children and families affected by autism and disability through awareness, support, referrals, and community inclusion.
Child Protection & Welfare Promoting the safety, health, dignity, and protection of children at home, in school, and in communities.
Education Sponsorship Mobilising support for school access, school fees, learning opportunities, and educational continuity for vulnerable children.
Women Empowerment Strengthening vulnerable women and caregivers through empowerment, business support, and livelihood opportunities.
Relief, Food & Medical Support Providing groceries, medical support, household relief, and practical care assistance to vulnerable families.
